Sava-basin hunting-ground ‘Karakuša’ Ruma covers 7.895 ha, of which 2,257 ha are enclosed.
Predominant large game species include boar, deer, and roe-game as an accompanying species.
This is a lowland type hunting-ground with height between 75 and 80 metres above sea level. It is almost entirely under forests.
Sava basin hunting-ground ‘Karakuša’ is located 70 km from Novi Sad and 50 km from Belgrade airport.
Board and lodging for the hunters are provided in the hunting lodge ‘Karakuša’ with a maximum of 45 beds. However, 38 beds are the optimum.
Large game hunting is carried out from shooting stands. Group hunting of boar is organized in this hunting-ground.
